Just feels like home
This is our familiy’s 7th year at BHEC. We fell in love on our tour and have been very happy ever since. At its core, BHEC embraces Jewish values and strives to enrich the lives of all campers, regardless of religious affiliation. We love that this camp is inclusive and all children fit in. The leadership is genuine and caring. They are responsive to the needs of all. They bring in various programming specialists throughout the summer to add to the traditional schedule. Our older son has been a camper for 6 years and now his seventh year, an LIT (CIT). Camper life was fantastic and we now all appreciate the leadership opportunities available to grow into his next chapter at BHEC. A fantastic option here is their culinary camp option. It is a camp within a camp. Our younger son is participating for his second summer. He spends part of the summer in the traditional camp and part in culinary. On top of everything else we love about BHEC, one of the very best parts is how down-to-earth the campers and families are. As parents we have made great friends and so have our children.
