About Camp Ramapo (Ramapo for Children)
Camp Ramapo, run by the nonprofit Ramapo for Children (founded 1922), sits on 240 acres on Lake Sepasco in Rhinebeck, New York. It is a coed residential camp for children ages 6–16 affected by social, emotional, or learning challenges, including ADHD and autism spectrum disorder, with a roughly 1:1 camper-to-staff ratio. Campers choose 2- or 3-week sessions, or combine them for 5, 6 or 8 weeks filled with swimming, boating, hiking, high ropes, arts, and a corral/petting zoo, all delivered through the strengths-based Ramapo Approach.
