Camp Scatico is a brother-sister sleepaway camp in Elizaville, New York, in the Hudson Valley about two hours north of New York City. Family owned since 1921, its 275-acre campus sits on a 3/4-mile-long spring-fed lake, with separate boys' and girls' camps that share one Scatico spirit. The numbers tell the story of a tight-knit community: 95% of campers return each summer, 80% of bunk counselors grew up as Scatico campers themselves, and a 3:1 camper-to-staff ratio keeps everything personal. Campers come from 15+ countries for the full seven-week session, with a four-week option for first-time campers and a one-week starter program for the youngest.
