About Camp Tapawingo
Camp Tapawingo is a private, independent overnight camp for girls ages 7-17, nestled among the pines on the shores of Keyes Pond in Sweden, Maine. Since 1919 it has fostered compassion, courage, and confidence through a joyful, tradition-rich culture: a full waterfront with swimming and sailing, tennis, team sports, gymnastics, horseback riding, dance, theater, music, fine arts, and camping, hiking, backpacking and canoeing. Girls attend the full 7-week summer or a 4-week first or 3-week second session in a close-knit community.
