Our favorite place :)

Camp Wayne has always held such a special place in my heart. I was lucky enough to be a camper for 13 summers, so being able to now watch my own boys experience the magic of Camp Wayne has been incredibly meaningful to me. This year, our boys completed their fourth and second summers, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience they continue to have. What makes Camp Wayne so special is that it gives our kids the opportunity to grow, step outside of their comfort zones, and experience things they may not otherwise have the chance to do. They are encouraged to try new things, take on responsibility, and discover their strengths. The weekly leadership awards and opportunities to lead during Color War are such wonderful examples of how camp builds confidence and leadership in our kids. We also love seeing how the older campers, CITs and LITs interact with the younger kids. They are such positive role models and create a true sense of community and family within the camp. Most importantly, our boys are happy, confident, and proud of themselves when they come home. Watching them grow into more independent, capable, and caring young boys through a place that meant so much to me growing up is truly one of the most special parts of being a Camp Wayne parent. We are so grateful to the entire Camp Wayne community for giving our boys the same incredible experience and memories that I was lucky enough to have.

The Best Place On Earth πŸ’™

My oldest son is 24 years old. He went to Camp Wayne For Boys for 10 years. He currently lives in NYC and is bonded for life with his camp friends. There was never a time I didn’t think about sending my younger son there. He is 14 years old and going back as a CIT this summer with all his camp brothers for life. If I could do it all again, I would do the exact same thing Camp Wayne For Boys for life!!!
