About Eagle Island Camp

Eagle Island Camp sits on its own island in Upper Saranac Lake, New York - an Adirondack Great Camp built in 1903 for Vice President Levi P. Morton and now a National Historic Landmark. Girls ages 8-17 come by boat for one- to six-week overnight sessions filled with swimming, sailing, canoeing, archery, and crafts, in a close community built on confidence and courage. A nonprofit runs the camp and keeps it affordable, with a day-to-overnight Bridge program that eases the youngest campers in, plus family camps and women's weekends around the season.
