About URJ Camp Coleman

URJ Camp Coleman is a coed Jewish overnight camp of the Union for Reform Judaism in Cleveland, Georgia, in the southern Appalachian mountains. Generations of campers have grown up on its lakefront with sports, arts, adventure, and joyful Reform Jewish living β€” including the beloved all-white Friday night Shabbat tradition, walking to services together with the Torahs. Campers build summer-after-summer friendships, with many working their way up from camper to CIT to counselor. A Southeast favorite for families from across the country.

Home Away From Home!

Both of my children attended Camp Coleman for many years. It became their home away from home! They enjoyed the variety of activities offered and built lifelong friendships! We are not a religious family but my children loved the traditional Friday night Shabbat experience where everyone dressed up in white and all walked to services, singing songs, with a few chosen people carrying the torahs! My daughter loved her experience so much that she became a CIT, a counselor, and worked her way up to division head! I highly recommend Camp Coleman for a wonderful summer in the mountains of Cleveland, GA! Check out their website for more information!
