About WeHaKee Camp for Girls

WeHaKee Camp for Girls has welcomed girls every summer since 1923, when Dominican Sister David O'Leary opened it on Green Bay; since the late 1950s it has lived on the shores of Hunter Lake in Wisconsin's Northwoods, at the edge of the Chequamegon National Forest. Girls ages 7-18 choose from nearly 40 activities - horseback riding, water skiing, sailing, archery, pottery, theater - with two counselors living in every cabin and one of the most internationally diverse girls' camp communities in the Midwest. A Leadership Academy serves the oldest campers.

A wonderful place for girls to learn and grow!

A truly wonderful camp! Blissful location in northern Wisconsin with a large beautiful lake (and pool), charming cabins for 6-8 girls, low counselor-camper ratio, plentiful activities, and more. Dedicated and energetic camp directors--Staci and Corey. A wonderful place for girls to learn and grow!
